Start of work: Spring 2023
In 1947 Jean Cocteau, tired of the Parisian bustle, left his Parisian apartment on rue Montpensier for a refuge in Milly-la-Forêt where he bought a house in order to find himself, he liked to say. The perfumed air and the sweetness of life of Milly filled him more than all the Parisian honors. The purchase is made with the participation of Mr. Jean Marais. Milly en Gâtinais offers it a haven of peace, as well as an idyllic living environment. A stay of 17 years, during which he will receive from the inhabitants of Milly-la-Forêt, the Milliacois, a confident and admiring glance.
We are pleased to inform you that the film "Jean Cocteau de Milly-la-Forêt" has been available since Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Chapelle Saint-Blaise des Simples on DVD.
The profits from the sale of this limited edition go as a total donation to the Association managing the Chapel decorated by Jean Cocteau. The film, complete with several supplements, is also subtitled in French and English.
The year 2021 is a year of transition and great changes for Le Cyclop.
Jean Tinguely's work closes from November 2020 to April 2022 in order to be able to carry out major restoration work.

and to review works produced by Le Cyclop.
"It is about straightening the fallen or felled tree (one can also carve in situ the dead tree, bare, inhabited by memories);
an exchange of energy, body to body, meetings, listening punctuated by wind, space, light, beyond words.
It is about telling the human story, going deep into the heart of the woods, crossing it in order to deliver the essential.
It is a dialogue with Jean Cocteau, with the garden and the chapel - Sculpted wood"
